4 out of 5 stars Only wipes I buy...   August 12, 2010
J. M. Burkhart
I like these wipes because they get the job done while being eco-friendly. My daughter has sensitive skin and she does not break out from them. The only downside is that sometimes when you pull out a wipe, the next one does not pop out. While some reviews say they are dry, you may think that when you switch from a brand like pampers, huggies, etc because they are just laiden with some sort of liquid that you could ring out and you don't know what's in it. I'd rather go with something my baby isn't going to break out from. I just put the package into a old pamper's tub to keep them fresh.

4 out of 5 stars the only wipes i can use   August 11, 2010

I got a case pack of these as a shower gift. I use cloth diapers with my baby, so i usually use cloth wipes but i need something for travel. These are the only wipes i can use on my girls skin that do not give her a terrible rash. I love these wipes! the only reason they got four stars and not five is because they are kind of a pain to get out of the packaging. But having tried many brands, that happens alot. These are much cheaper than other brands like seventh generation. They are soft and perfect for very sensitive babies, i just wish i could find them in a store near me!

The product packaging says that it is 100% free of harsh chemicals. However, this product contains Limonene, Linalool and Geraniol, all of which are skin irritants. If you want to find a brand that does not have harsh chemicals, read the ingredients and look elsewhere. I am seriously disappointed and can't believe I just purchased such a large package!

We buy these wipes because we would only wipe our baby's feces on the most natural and pristine parts of Mother Gaia. There are two advantages over the Costco wipes we had previously used. First, unlike the Costco wipes, which come in a plastic pouch, the Nature Babycare wipes come in a paper-coated plastic pouch. Second, the Costco wipes have a snapping reclosable mouth made of hard plastic, which lets you open the package, reliably extract a single wipe, and close the package all with one hand in about two seconds. The Nature Babycare wipes, however, have an adhesive cellophane flap. It's easy - open the flap (assuming you were extraordinarily lucky and managed to close it the last time), dig through the dried up wipes on top, pull out a clump of 5-10 semi-moist ones, separate a wipe, locate your baby, who's probably crawled halfway across the interstate by now, wipe, repeat, cram the loose ends back into the mouth of the bag, and store the bag in a high locked cabinet so your baby doesn't choke on the cellophane flap. While all this does create more waste because you need five times as many packages to yield the same number of usable wipes, it's good for Mother Gaia in the long term, because it will dissuade you from having any more children.

5 out of 5 stars The only wipes I use on my child's sensitive bottom   August 6, 2010
Satin 25 (Connecticut)
My 2 year old gets diaper rashes easily and this is the only wipe I use on his sensitive bottom. Very light, not heavy and soapy like other wipes. It's a great product...and it's green!
