Wow, buying a baby gate... what a decision to make! I spent hours looking over options, researching different products, reading tons of reviews. What to buy? Let me tell you I am so glad I purchased this gate. It is exactly what we needed. The size is adjustable to fit into many different areas, with top and bottom adjustments so if you have an odd sized doorframe, no problems.
It also comes with extensions! None of the other products I was considering had that included with the gate. Although we didn't need them for our hallway installation, it's nice to know that they are there if we move it to a different space. Installation was easy, about ten minutes with just one person. But what I love about the gate is that it is very sturdy, solid and doesn't have any parts that little fingers can get stuck in. It is easy to go in and out, with the gate swinging both directions. We are larger people and were worried about the size of the gate opening, but have had no problems. Easy to carry the laundry basket back and forth. I need to get a second one and know that I'll definitely order this product again! Now if only the cat would figure out how to jump over it!

If you plan to use this gate in a high traffic area do NOT buy it! It closes automatically after you go through which will drive you nuts after 3 or 4 times of having to open it. We had to use a bungie cord to keep it open when the baby was sleeping or in his highchair. The latch on the top broke off after 2 months of use and now my baby can give it a good shake and get through. It is useless. We also own the First Years hands free gate and it is WONDERFUL (lasted 3 kids). This one is going in the trash.

We just got a puppy and needed a gate to separate the kitchen from the living room. My husband installed it and it took 15 minutes. It also doesn't require drilling in your wall and the door is easy to open/close but feels secure enough that the puppy can't get through. It was also wide enough that it should fit most openings. We like it so much we are buying a second one to put in another area of the house.

This gate is awesome. It looks very nice with our modern decor. It was easy for my husband to install. The gate swings either way and is childproof. No complaints. Can be either pressure mounted or screwed in. We are ordering a third gate today.
