I've tried a few different monitors and this one I feel has had the shortest range. It also is super sensitive to anything that come between it and the base. So if you walk between the monitors it often will just start beeping. When it's out of range it just starts beeping as well. To get an idea of range, we use it in our kids room and we need to keep the monitor about 40 feet or so away in a funny place on the floor to ensure it doesn't just start beeping randomly. I'd recommend looking for a monitor with a better range.

I picked this because it had great reviews. I wanted something reasonably priced that worked well and I thought I would have that in this monitor. The monitor is really great and I would love it if it didn't keep beeping, telling me that I may have a range problem. It says you can go 900 feet but I can't go out in my garage without it chirping the whole time. And the other night I was upstairs cleaning the kitchen and it started chirping again. I shouldn't be out of range just up the stairs from my baby. Really, I love so many features this monitor provides, I just have to get rid of it because the beeping is driving me crazy. I look like a crazy lady walking all around the house looking for a pocket where the base and the receiver can communicate.

I have been through my share of monitors and this one is by far the best! It holds its charge for a long time and I haven't had any interferance at all. Very much worth the money! Skip the cheap monitors and go straight for this one- you'll save money in the long run!

I bought this product after searching high and low for every monitor reviews out there. I finally decided to try it after seeing the good reviews on this product. This product is amazing. It picks up every little sound even my baby's breathing. I feel secured hearing my little one breathing while sleeping. The downside of this is that since it is so clear you can hear everhting else outside the baby's room and that is when the "voice activatiion" feature comes in. Only picks up the a real sound. I also love the water reisistance feature too and for the extra money I spent it's worth it on getting the rechargeable battery. Saves you alot of money. Overall excellent product for the price. Love it.

This monitor is pretty good. But it drives me crazy because my cell phone causes it to screech! The cell phone just has to be near it and it goes bananas - not only when I am on a call, just randomly and without warning. When I go from room to room what do I always have with me... my cell phone and the baby monitor. This would be a great monitor if it wasn't for that.
