Love the little RaZ! August 26, 2010 Heather Jones (Orlando, FL USA) Our poor Little One (LO) has had a really rough time with the teething. Lots of pain, drooling, waking in the night, and refusing feedings... and he's only 5 months old. (We've only just begun...) So, we've tried everything that's been suggested to us and divided them into WIN and FAIL categories. The RaZ-berry teether is a definite WIN, and is LO's second favorite teether behind Sophie the Giraffe and one ahead of a washcloth-wrapped ice cube. It's rubbery and squishy, but firm enough to provide resistance on the gums. It's also easy for him to grab and hold with his "paws" as he learns to control the digits. I saw the review about one falling apart; I took note but didn't see anything that would cause this helicopter mom any concern; it looks pretty sturdy. But we'll be sure to examine it before we ever give it to him, like we do most toys. I recommend!
good idea but too big for baby's mouth August 24, 2010 Windy St George (Berkeley) I thought this was a great idea, my kids are always chewing up their pacifiers. This product is sturdy and has a great design, but the "berry" part is too big to fit in baby's mouth, and she's 1 now! She doesn't seem to grasp the concept this is for chewing, not a pacifier. She tries to put it in her mouth and its really big so she just drops it.
Confusing at first, but loves in the end August 23, 2010 lss429 Our little boy just cut his first tooth and the second one is on the way! At first he was very grossed out and confused by the teether, but once he figured out that it helped his little gums he likes it. Oddly enough he enjoys chewing on the leaf part of the teether more so than the actual berry part. Possibly because the berry part is still a bit too big for his little mouth (he is 7 months old). The leaves are very soft as is the handle. I would recommend this product, but will say it takes some getting use to for the baby/toddler.
Good for 'older' teethers August 23, 2010 Melbettis I bought this for my 3 1/2 month old that started teething early. She does like it but it's a little big for her mouth. I think she'll use it often as she gets a little older.
Razbaby August 23, 2010 Kellyrenee My 4 month old seems to love this, it is one of the only things she doesn't drop right after she picks it up. She loves chewing on it, I can't tell if she is actually teething yet, but she is much happier when she has it to chew on when she is in the mood o chew on things.
